Day1

Arrive in Havana. Transfer in airport – Hotel.
Accommodation at Hotel Occidental Miramar. Welcome cocktail.
Day2

Breakfast.
Visit and lecture at “Fundación El Hombre y a la Naturaleza” . Topic: Cuban nature and cultural heritage. World Heritage sites in Cuba.
Visit to the Great Metropolitan Park, explanations on the Rehabilitation Projects.
Lunch at restaurant “La Pérgola” located in the Havana Forrest areas.
Departure to Trinidad, a colonial town built by the Spaniards near 5 centuries ago, surrounded by the Escambray mountains to the North and close to the Ancon beach in the South.
Accommodation in bungalows at Hotel Costa Sur, in “Ancón” Beach.
Day3

Departure to “Las Terrazas” experimental rural community in the mountains of Sierra del Rosario, Pinar del Rio. Visit the community and contact woth villagers to see how they live and their traditions.
Lunch at check in at “La Moka” a beautiful hotel built in the slide of a mountain, surrounded by exuberant vegetation.
Afternoon visit to the Biosphere Reserve areas in Sierra del Rosario. Appreciation of amazing flora and fauna including endemic species.
Visit to the ruins of the Coffee plantation and farm “Buena Vista”’ and optional bath in medicinal waters of San Juan river, its rapids and lagoons.
Over night at la “Moka”
Day4

Desayuno.
Departure to Soroa trip through secondary roads in the mountains.
In Soroa, walking through exuberant nature to appreciate typical flora and fauna. Visit the Orchid garden and the water fall, rivr and lagoon. Optional bath.
Lunch in a local restaurant.
Continuation of the ride to Vinales Valley, dcelared by UNESCO as Cultural Landscape within the World Heritage Sites.
Arrival and Over night at “Los jazmines” hotel bungalows.
Day5

Breakfast.
From the Out looking points, you will have a magnificent overview of the valley. Also included a visit to The Indian Cave, boat ride through its underground river, optional horseback rides. Visit to a Tobacco plantation and “Caridad’s Garden, a private and exotic garden owned by a local villager. Lunch included in a local typical restaurant in front of the Prehistoric Mural.
Late afternoon, return to Havana. Arrival and accommodation at Hotel Occidental Miramar.
Day6

Breakfast
Departure to the Zapata Wet Land in the soth of Matanzas province.
Visit to a Cocrodile Farm to see how the animals are fed and taken care of.
Visit to a replica of and Indian Village, resembling the original towns built by the first inhabitants of the Island.
Accommodation and lunch at Villa Guama. Rustic Cabins built on pillars in a lagoon.
Afternoon motor boat ride through the river and lagoon
Day7

Breakfast.
Expedition to the Zpata Swamp. Appreciation of unique values of the region, which is a Biosphere protected area.
Bird watching during the journey, including a boat ride through Hatiguanico river to see aquatic birds.
Lunch at Villa Guama and return to Havana in the afternoon.
Arrival and accommodation in Hotel Occidental Miramar.
Day8

Breakfast
Guided visit to the National Museum of Natural History.
Free time to enjoy swimming pools and other hotel facilities.
Lunch at hotel restaurant and late check out.
Transfer Out to the Havana airport to take the returning flight.
